1. How’s the translation process like?
At WhizWordz, we make the website translation and localisation process easy for you. The work flow is designed to guarantee high quality translations.

All we need from you is your confirmed contents in its original language (preferably in a MS Word document), the languages (countries) you require, your glossary (if there’s any), your deadline as well as any specific requirements/instructions.

We will then send you a quote via email. Once you agree, our translator(s) will start working on your project on the next available working day. The Project Manager in charge of your account will assign the job to the most suitable native translator who has experience in similar contents.

Once the documents are translated, they are submitted to a proof-reader with similar skills who will ensure that the translation is correct and meets WhizWordz’s quality standards.

Finally, all the materials are checked by the Project Manager in charge who will ensure that all the guidelines and the client’s requirements have been met before submitting to the client.

2. What languages does WhizWordz work with?
Due to our extensive and close knitted collaboration with translators from around the world, we are able to provide translation for more than 40 languages today.

3. Where are your translators from?
At WhizWordz, we collaborate with translators from around the world. Many of them are natives in their country of residence. Due to family commitments and future plans, we also have some long-time translators who continued to work with us to provide native support despite stationing outside of their native country. Besides professional translation qualifications, our translators also hold undergraduate/graduate degrees and Masters degrees in a wide range of industries, including but not limited to Business, Law, Medical, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Marketing and Advertising, among others. These qualifications are coupled with training and specialisation in specific areas which enable WhizWordz to deliver high quality translations.
4. What kind of documents can you actually translate?
At WhizWordz, we can translate anything you like. We specialised in a wide variety of documents from Marketing Collaterals, Technical Manuals, Legal or Medical document to personal individual documents such as Birth & Death Certificates, Marriage & Divorce Certificates, Property Deeds, Visa Documents and Education Certificates. 5. How can I get a translation quote?

At WhizWordz, our aim is to ensure that all our clients are served promptly with the best service. In order to serve you better, our employees need to have ample rest after an intensive day at work.

Hence, please note that quote requests after 4 pm will only be handled on the next working day (ie. Next Monday if you send after Friday 4pm). To avoid delays, we recommend that you send us your documents as early as possible.

In order for us to serve you better, you may also wish to drop us an email followed by a Whatapps message to inform us of your email. This will enable our Sales Team to serve and answer your enquiry in the shortest time possible.

6. Are any indigenous speakers or computer software programmes utilised by WhizWordz to carry out its translations?
We make it a point to use professional translators who are not just native speakers of the targeted language, but also well-versed with the target and the source languages. This is primarily because machines are not reliable enough to deliver precise translations. Even so, we are aided by a few functional Memory Tools to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the translated content.
7. Where should I submit the documents to be translated? (Especially during the COVID-19 period)
Please email a copy of the document you want to translate to sales@whizwordz.com. Documents should be submitted in an easily accessed format such as Ms Words, Excel or PDF. If your documents are scanned copies, kindly ensure the contents’ clarity.

Alternatively, we understand at times, you may have to show us your documents in person. Due to current COVID-19 social distancing and Work-From-Home measures by the Singapore Government (as of November 2020), we appreciate if you could kindly fix an appointment prior to your visit as we are unable to entertain walk-ins at present.

8. Are there any length restrictions in translation?
There are no minimum or maximum word counts for the documents we translate. For very short contents that contain less than 250 words, a minimum rate will be applied based on the language pair and the translation type.
9. How long does it take to complete a translation?
Our deadlines for translation vary depending on the language pair and the word count of the original document. For the most popular local languages such as English and Chinese, there are in-house translators and proof-readers who can expedite the process.

Please bear in mind that for the most common language pairs, the minimum deadline is one day upon confirmation for short jobs. If the deadline offered by WhizWordz does not meet your needs, please let us know so we can make an offer that best accommodates you.

10. Can I request an urgent service?
Yes, you may do so. We recommend that you call our office hotline (Tel: +65 66003798 or message us via WhatApps (insert whatapps number) during our opening hours. Additional fees apply for urgent services.

When should I request for urgent service?
Documents that range from 1 – 2 pages usually takes from a day to three. However, the actual deadline may vary depending on several factors such as peak period where translators are usually already packed with other scheduled, your request comes in after office hours or near the end of our business day, just to name a few. We usually do not recommend clients to request for urgent service if they are able to wait for at least a few days, as it may incur extra costs.
We recommend you to send in your documents as early as possible with additional timeline on your side as well so that there will be sufficient time for you to go through your translated documents and raise any concerns, as well as allow our project managers/translators ample time to follow up with you and fix the translation issues.

If the deadline offered by WhizWordz does not meet your needs, please let us know so we can make an offer that best accommodates you.

11. If my documents are already translated, can WhizWordz proofread them for me?
Definitely! We will be glad to help you in this aspect. Apart from translation services, WhizWordz also specialise in providing proofreading services to clients. In fact, many of our clients engage us to provide last mile proofreading services for their documents.
12. How do I collect the translated documents?
At WhizWordz, we offer several ways which you can use to collect your translated documents. Ordinary translations are usually sent by e-mail. For notorised documents which require a stamp or signature from the lawyer/translator, you may collect the actual documents in person at our office or you can have them sent to an address of your choosing by courier.
Alternatively, you may choose to get the scanned documents via e-mail first, and collect the hard copy in person or have them couriered to you at a later date.
13. How do I make payment for the translation?
